For players
How it worksBy gamers, for gamers.
Play as usual on partner servers – we count your time and pay you in coins you can exchange for rewards.
- coin grace period
- 7 days
- of play to your first exchange
- 5 h
- more coins for the nickname tag
- +10%
- of referred players' earnings for you
- 10%
Step by step
- 1Sign in with SteamYou sign in on Steam's own page – we never see your password. Your PLAYforMONEY account is created automatically.
- 2Pick a server and accept the offerEvery server shows its rate in coins per hour and the offer conditions. Accept the offer before you join the game.
- 3Play as usualNothing to install. We check the server a few times per hour and count your play time from that.
- 4Pending coinsAfter a session the coins land in your pending balance and wait there for 7 days. That's time to sort out any irregularities.
- 5Available coinsAfter the grace period the coins move to your available balance on their own – no clicking. Your wallet shows the balance and history.
- 6Exchange in the shopSwap available coins for game codes and top-ups. You'll find the code under “My orders” – visible only to you. We check your first exchange by hand, the next ones go faster.
How we verify play
No plugins on servers. We use the public information every server gives to server lists, plus data from Steam.
No plugins
The server installs nothing and neither do you. We see what any server list sees: name, map and player list.
Rare, random reads
We check each server a few times per hour, at random intervals and with a single query – so we don't burden it.
Careful estimates
Time between reads in which we saw you counts in full; the start and end of a session count only partly. The result can be a bit lower than your real play time – on purpose.
Fair to servers
Servers pay for players we bring to them. That's why we only count play after you accept the offer, and only what can be confirmed.
- You accept the offer
- Read – you're on the server
- Read – you're gone
- counted in full
- counted partly
Reads happen at random moments, a few times per hour.
How we recognise you
- Steam – the account you sign in with. If your profile shows what you're playing, Steam confirms the server too.
- Minecraft – link your premium account once by joining our account-linking server.
- Other games – the nickname from your profile. It's weaker verification, so some offers may not accept it.
Levels and perks
Your level grows with every verified hour of play – finished sessions count. The key milestones:
| What you get | Level | Hours played |
|---|---|---|
| Exchange coins for rewards | 1 | 5 h |
| Daily bonus: 5 coins | 2 | 11 h |
| First level reward: 100 coins | 3 | 18 h |
| Boost to coins for playing: +1% | 6 | 45 h |
| Highest boost for playing: +10% | 42 | 3,468 h |
| Top level and a 5,000 coins reward | 50 | 7,553 h |
Levels in total: 50. Level rewards are granted automatically – pending at first, just like coins for playing.
Achievements
Badges for playing and being active, shown on your profile. They're for glory – no coins.
Bonuses
On top of coins for playing, there's a bit more.
Daily bonus
From level 2 you claim 5 coins every day, and higher levels raise it up to 30 coins. Requirement: 7 h of play this week or last week.
Referrals
Invite friends with your link or code. For each of the first 10 who play 5 h you get 200 coins, plus 10% of the coins they earn by playing – paid by us, not by your friend.
Starter code
A new account with a friend's code or the site code P4M gets 50 coins to start, once it has 1 h of verified play.
Nickname tag
Add p4m to your in-game name as a separate word and sessions played with that name earn you +10% coins.
Fair play
A few simple rules that keep things fair – for players and for the servers that pay for promotion.
- Accept the offer before joining the server. If you're already on it, leave and rejoin after accepting.
- One active offer at a time, and a nickname on a server belongs to one player at any moment.
- Real play counts – in games that report a score, standing still for a long time (AFK) isn't counted.
- One account per person. Refer real friends, not your own accounts.
- The grace period and a manual check of your first exchange prevent abuse – coins gained unfairly can be taken back.
