Terms of service
These terms set out the rules for using PLAYforMONEY: creating an account, earning coins for verified play time on partner servers, exchanging coins for rewards, contacting us and filing complaints.
Effective from: [DO UZUPEŁNIENIA: data wejścia w życie]
§ 1. Who runs the Service
- PLAYforMONEY (the Service) is run by [DO UZUPEŁNIENIA: nazwa firmy / imię i nazwisko], [DO UZUPEŁNIENIA: adres], tax ID (NIP): [DO UZUPEŁNIENIA: NIP] (we or the Provider).
- Contact: the “Contact” form on the Service or e-mail kontaktatos@gmail.com. The same address is the single point of contact for users and authorities under Articles 11 and 12 of the Digital Services Act (DSA). We correspond in Polish and English.
- The Service is not affiliated with Valve Corporation (Steam), Mojang AB or Microsoft (Minecraft). Steam and Minecraft are trademarks of their respective owners.
§ 2. Definitions
- Player (or you) – a person using the Service. Account – a Player's account on the Service.
- Partner server – a game server run by another person or company (a Partner) that promotes it on the Service. The rules for Partners are set out in the “Terms for server partners”.
- Offer – a Partner server's proposal: a set number of coins per hour of play, on selected days and hours and within limits.
- Session – the time from accepting an Offer until it ends. During this time we check whether you are playing on the server.
- Coins – points in the Service's rewards programme (§ 9). Your balance is split into pending, available and held (in orders) coins.
- Shop – where you exchange available coins for Rewards (e.g. top-up codes and game codes).
- Ticket – a message sent with the “Contact” form, including a complaint.
§ 3. Services
Through the Service we provide the following services electronically and free of charge:
- browsing the list of servers, Offers, rankings, contests, the FAQ and other content – without signing in,
- running your Account: sign-in, profile, linked Steam and Minecraft accounts, in-game nicknames, notification settings, data export,
- the coins programme: accepting Offers, verifying play time, crediting coins and bonuses, a wallet with transaction history, levels, achievements, referrals, promo codes,
- the Shop – exchanging coins for Rewards,
- the “Contact” form with Ticket threads, and on-site notifications,
- the server panel for Partners – under the “Terms for server partners”.
Players do not pay to use the Service. Offers are funded by Partners, who pay us to promote their servers; bonuses are funded by the Service.
The Account agreement is concluded for an indefinite period when you first sign in. The agreement for browsing content lasts while you use the site, and the agreement for handling a Ticket lasts until it is closed. You may stop using the Service and delete your Account at any time (§ 14).
The Service does not run games of chance, betting or lotteries. Contests are ranking-based: positions depend on verified play time, and the rules and prizes are described for each contest.
In the demo version (marked with a “DEMO” bar) some servers and players are simulated, and codes in the Shop are test codes with no value at all.
§ 4. Technical requirements
- a device with internet access and an up-to-date browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) with JavaScript and cookies enabled – you cannot sign in without cookies,
- a Steam account or a Minecraft: Java Edition (premium) account – to sign in,
- to earn coins: the game, meeting its own requirements, and access to the partner server; you do not install anything extra,
- to link a Minecraft account: a Minecraft: Java Edition client to join our account-linking server (its address is shown on the Service).
You must not provide unlawful content – in particular in nicknames, Tickets and any other content sent to the Service.
§ 5. Age
- A person aged 16 or over may create an Account on their own.
- A person aged 13–15 may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who should read these Terms and the Privacy policy.
- Persons under 13 may not create an Account (the same as on Steam).
- If we learn that an Account belongs to a person who does not meet these conditions, we may suspend it until clarified, and delete the Account of a child under 13.
§ 6. Account
- You sign in with Steam (on Steam's own page – we never learn your password) or with a code from our Minecraft account-linking server (Mojang confirms that the Minecraft account is yours; the code works for 10 minutes and only once). You can link both accounts in one profile.
- One person may have one Account. You must not create further accounts, use someone else's Account, or share, sell or hand over your own.
- You are responsible for the security of your Steam and Minecraft accounts. We never ask for passwords, Steam Guard codes, Reward codes or in-game items.
- Your nickname and avatar are taken from Steam. They are publicly visible in rankings and contests.
- Nicknames for games where an account cannot be confirmed (e.g. Minecraft non-premium, FiveM, SA-MP) are entered in your profile. You may only enter a nickname you use yourself. A nickname is unique on the Service and can be changed no sooner than after 7 days.
§ 7. Earning coins
- Accept the Offer first, then join the server. Play before accepting the Offer does not count. If you were already on the server, the Session is rejected – leave and join again.
- We check play time without plugins: a few times per hour, at random intervals, we read the server's public data (player list, connection time, score, UUID) and use Steam data (which server you are playing on – when your Steam profile shows it).
- We estimate play time conservatively – the result may be lower than your actual play time. The estimation rules are described on the “How it works” page. Coins equal the credited time multiplied by the Offer's rate, rounded down.
- A Session waits for you for up to 45 minutes. It ends when you leave the server, when we cannot confirm your presence for a longer time, when the Offer, the server's budget or a daily limit runs out – and after 6 hours at the latest. You can have one Session at a time, and a nickname on a server can belong to only one Player at any moment.
- Daily limits on play time on a single server apply: the Offer's limit and the Service's limit – the lower one counts.
- In games that report a score, stretches without any score change (AFK) are not counted. Servers that do not report a player list have limited verification – we credit coins only for play that can be confirmed.
- Besides coins for playing, we grant bonuses: for your level, a daily bonus, for the tag in your nickname, for referrals, from promo codes, level rewards and bonuses for returning to a server. The current rules and amounts are shown in the “Bonuses” tab and with the Offers.
- Refer real people only. If the referrer and the referred player use the same device or network, referral bonuses are withheld until clarified.
- A Partner server's team sees, in its panel, the Players who accepted that server's Offers: nickname and avatar on the Service, in-game nickname, number of Sessions, credited time and cost. A Partner may exclude a Player from their server's Offers – any ongoing Session on that server then ends, and the time credited up to that moment stays. Such a block applies only to that server's Offers and is the Partner's decision; if you think it is abusive, write to us.
§ 8. Fair play – what is not allowed
In particular, it is forbidden to:
- have more than one Account, refer yourself or create accounts to collect bonuses,
- use bots, macros, scripts or other programs that simulate play or presence on a server,
- impersonate another player, enter someone else's nickname or play on someone else's game account,
- manipulate the data we rely on (e.g. fake player lists, artificial players) – including in cooperation with a Partner,
- exploit bugs in the Service – report a bug to us instead of using it,
- attack the Service, bypass security measures and limits, or scrape data automatically in bulk,
- sell an Account or coins,
- provide content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes the rights of others.
The consequences of violations are set out in § 13.
§ 9. Coins
- Coins are points in the Service's rewards programme. They are not money or electronic money, have no monetary value and cannot be cashed out, sold, transferred to another Account or exchanged outside the Service. They can only be exchanged for Rewards in the Shop.
- Coins for playing and most bonuses are pending at first. After the grace period (its current length is shown in your wallet and on the “How it works” page) they move to available on their own. During the grace period we can clarify any irregularities.
- Every balance change is recorded in the transaction ledger and shown in your wallet history. Coins credited by mistake or earned in breach of these Terms may be reversed or corrected, also after the grace period. Any correction is visible in the history.
- Coins are forfeited when you delete your Account (§ 14) or when we permanently block it for fraud (§ 13).
- Coins do not expire – they remain valid as long as the Account exists and the Service operates (§ 14).
- The programme's parameters (rates, grace period, bonuses, levels, limits) may change. A change never takes away coins that have already been booked.
§ 10. Exchanging coins for Rewards
- You exchange available coins. Exchanges unlock at the level shown in the “Bonuses” tab, and the Shop shows the daily exchange limit and the number of items per order.
- Once you place an order, the coins are held. Every Player's first exchange, larger amounts and orders from Accounts where our safeguards detected a risk (e.g. a very new Steam account, bans, a private profile, a device shared with another Account) are checked by a person. You can cancel an order that is waiting to be checked.
- If we reject an order, we give the reason and the coins return to available.
- Codes in stock are issued automatically; other Rewards are fulfilled manually – without undue delay. You can follow the order under “My orders”.
- Only you can see the code, under “My orders”. We record the moment it is first revealed. Do not show the code to others – our staff never ask for it.
- Codes are issued by other companies (e.g. Valve, Sony, Microsoft). Their use is subject to the issuer's rules, including the regional restrictions given in the Reward description. We are responsible for the code being valid when it is issued.
- We do not convert an issued Reward back into coins unless we accept a complaint (§ 11).
§ 11. Complaints
- You can file a complaint about any matter concerning the Service: how the site works, coins credited for a Session, an order or a code. Send it with the “Contact” form (for orders – the “Payout problems” category) or by e-mail to kontaktatos@gmail.com.
- Describe the problem, give the date, the server or the order number, and say what you expect. If you are not signed in, give an e-mail address for our reply.
- Report a code that does not work preferably right after revealing it, and within 30 days at the latest – we will then check it with the issuer. Report objections to a Session's credit preferably within 14 days of its end. These time limits do not restrict the rights that consumers have by law.
- We reply within 14 days of receiving the complaint – in the Ticket thread on the Service and, if you give an e-mail address, also to that address.
- If we accept a complaint, we correct the coins, issue a new code or return the coins for the order.
- Consumers may get free help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the regional Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) – information: https://uokik.gov.pl.
§ 12. Illegal content (DSA)
- You can report content posted on the Service by someone else (e.g. a server's name, description, logo or banner, a nickname) with the “Contact” form (the “Report abuse” category) or by e-mail. Give the address of the page with the content, explain why it is illegal, give your name (or company name) and e-mail address, and state that you are reporting in good faith and the information is accurate.
- Reports are reviewed by a person without undue delay. We inform you of the decision and of the possibility to appeal.
- We may hide or remove content that breaks the law or these Terms, and suspend the server or the Account. We inform the person concerned of the decision and the reasons for it, if we know their contact details. Decisions can be appealed in the same way as a block (§ 13).
- We do not use automated content moderation. Automated rules apply only to crediting play time and to fraud safeguards – decisions on blocks are made by a person.
§ 13. Violations, blocks and appeals
- If you break these Terms or the law, we may – depending on the seriousness of the violation – reverse coins obtained in breach, withhold bonuses, send exchanges for manual review, reject an order, flag the Account for review or block the Account (signing you out and preventing sign-in).
- Our safeguards assess risk automatically (age and bans of the Steam account, a private profile, a device or network shared with another Account). Such an assessment never blocks an Account by itself – it passes the matter to a person.
- For fraud (e.g. multiple accounts, bots, impersonation, manipulating server reads) we may block the Account permanently – the coins on it are then forfeited.
- We inform you of a block and its reasons if we know your contact details.
- Send an appeal with the “Contact” form (the “Account” category) – from a blocked Account you can write without signing in by giving an e-mail address. Appeals are reviewed by a person within 14 days.
§ 14. Deleting your Account and ending the agreement
- You can delete your Account at any time under “Profile → Account and privacy”. Before that, finish any ongoing Session, wait for open orders to be fulfilled or cancel them, and hand the server owner role to someone else.
- Deletion cannot be undone: we delete or anonymise your personal data (details in the Privacy policy), the coins are forfeited, and signing in again with the same Steam or Minecraft account creates a new Account – without a second welcome bonus.
- We may terminate the Account agreement for important reasons: by a permanent block (§ 13) or with 30 days' notice, e.g. when we close the Service. During the notice period you can exchange your available coins for Rewards, unless the Account is blocked.
§ 15. Liability
- Partner servers are run by Partners. They are responsible for their servers: rules, administration, content, availability and decisions (e.g. in-game bans). We are not a party to your relationship with a Partner.
- Verification depends on server and Steam data. Outages of game servers or Steam, or maintenance breaks, may mean that part of your play is not credited – in justified cases we correct the coins after a complaint.
- Offers may end at any time (end of a campaign or budget, the Partner's decision). We do not guarantee the availability of specific Offers or Rewards.
- We work to keep the Service running without interruptions, but maintenance and outages may happen.
- We do not exclude or limit any liability towards consumers that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
§ 16. Personal data
How we process personal data and use cookies is described in the “Privacy policy” – you will find the link in the Service's footer.
§ 17. Changes to these Terms
- We may change these Terms for important reasons: changes in the law, changes to the Service's features, security, preventing abuse or changes to the rewards programme's rules.
- We announce changes on the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your Account before that date. We use a shorter period only when required by law or for security.
- Changes are not retroactive – they do not take away coins or Rewards obtained earlier.
§ 18. Final provisions
- These Terms are available free of charge on the Service – you can save and print them.
- These Terms are governed by Polish law. Consumers keep the protection given to them by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
- Disputes are settled by the courts having jurisdiction under general rules.
- These Terms exist in Polish and English. In case of discrepancies, the Polish version prevails.
